Adriana Bertini was born in Porto Alegre, in the south of Brazil, on February 2, 1971. She is a visual artist, designer, and activist, recognized for her innovative and intersectional approach in the fields of art, fashion, and human rights. Throughout her career, Bertini has dedicated herself to exploring the relationship between art, sexual health, environment, and cultural diversity.Adriana's background in art and design has led her to develop a unique aesthetic, where unconventional materials transform into impactful works of art. By utilizing, for example, used condoms, her practice challenges social norms and provokes critical reflections on themes such as HIV/AIDS, the stigmas associated with sexuality, and the importance of public health.Bertini is known for her interactive projects that promote awareness and education, seeking to transform society's perception of sexual health and human rights.
